Week of August 25–Jumping into Success!

Posted on September 3, 2008.

In honor of the Olympics, the fourth grade classes held the APEX Jumping Frog Olympics. The contestants, origami frogs made by the students, competed in several events: long jump, high jump, and across the hall dash. The students had to measure their frogs’ jumps to the nearest 1/4 inch (a fourth grade math skill.)

The fifth graders continued planning, taping, and editing their first iMovie project. They really like adding sound effects, transitions, and titles to their movies.
